The maker space is launching in October with access to professional tools you won't find anywhere else in the region. Whether you want to design and print your own 3D models, press a custom shirt, plot a large-format design, or learn to solder, the space is built for people who want to make real things.
Three ways to use the space, so you can come in for one project or make it your workshop.
Come in for a single project. Pay for what you use and go.
Book time on the tools you need for as long as you need them.
All-access for people who are here often and want the run of the space.
Print from an existing design, or model your own using Tinkercad — free, and it runs on any device in the space.
Custom shirts, transfers, and more. Certification is required to run it yourself — or we press it for you.
Posters, banners, patterns, and more.
Soldering stations and specialty tools for detailed work, plus a paper cutter for clean edges. Certification is required for some of this equipment.
Starting next spring, STEMpact WV will offer classes covering many of these technologies — including Tinkercad, 3D printing, and other modeling tools. More details on their programs will be announced closer to the date.
More details on pricing, hours, and certification are coming soon.
Sign up and we'll tell you the moment pricing, hours and certification details are set — plus what else is happening at the shop. One email a month, unsubscribe any time.
